I personally believe that people who draw, write, produce or look through (*cough*jackoffto*cough*) porn of the ponies should go through extensive background checks if they want to get a job that involves children or animals. No stone should be left unturned in regards to this. You honestly can't be too careful any more.

The big issue (no thanks to the extreme ends of the fandom) is that one can't even make casual (or tangential) references to/admit to enjoying the show without implicitly surrendering all rights to be addressed with civility, a courtesy often afforded to all but the most obnoxious fans of nearly everything else.

So is this the 5th Generation of SUAP or the 6th? I can't keep track of the bullshit. Also how are you?

I’m fine

So talkin' ponies was banned. CAN I GET A SIGNAL BOOST OVAR HERE. Also, if you'd like to tell tumblr that it was unjustly banned, that'd be great too.

[3/3] Is it annoying? Yes. Will references and crossovers be activities that fandoms just don't do anymore? Not for a long time, and not without making major behavioral changes/policing over a huge mass of a fandom[s]. I do empathize with you, dear Anon, with constantly running into things that I dislike on the internet in sites/forums/boards that I frequent.
feferslice asked
[2/3]especially when one of the sources being referenced/crossovered have fandoms that have a lot of 'taboo' stigma, be it caused by the fandom's doings or the source material itself (ex. MLP, Homestuck, Sonic, etc.). Such things are probably best left in sites, forums, and boards more associated to the taboo sources. However, when you have sites open for all interests, like Youtube, something like that becomes unavoidable because crossovers is a normal fandom thing to do...

[1/3] Anon said: "One thing that never fails to piss me off is when bronies bring up their precious ponies in something that has nothing to do with it[...]Is there wonder people think all Bronies are annoying freaks who don't shut up about it?" I think this can apply to a lot of fandoms, actually. I find that it's more of a problem of 'internet etiquette' that's left unchecked by most rabids and newcomers to fandoms/the internet; making references/crossovers...

Like I was talking about incest porn with takinponies they were talking about how real life people get raped because of incest, and while I do agree with them, I think they should know that most people that fap to incest porn that depicts fictional characters, know that it’s wrong and hate real life incest. I mean I like /ss/ but I don’t want kids to get molested.

It’s still offensive to the victims who have experienced it. Joking about it or treating incest with a manner that isn’t serious is bad, in poor taste, and in violation of the ToS.

Often times, though, people can’t really do much to change their fetishes. It absolutely is a topic that shouldn’t be taken lightly, but I wouldn’t say that it’s fair to directly shame someone that has that kink. HOWEVER I would really fucking prefer that people keep their interest in incest porn to themselves and just, you know, not post it publicly in association with a kid’s cartoon on a platform that children can easily find.

The thing is, people can blacklist tags, so if someone dislikes incest they can block that tag. And since most people tag their incest, most of time it won’t be seen if it’s tagged properly. I mean incest is a serious thing, but people do have the power to make it so they don’t have to see it. Also I’m sorry but Tumblr is not kid friendly.

Mulp: Key word there, “most”. Not everyone tags their things, so blacklisting doesn’t always work. And, you can search up pictures on google that link back to tumblr, so blacklisting and tagging are useless. (Sometimes, even google’s nsfw button has slipped and my siblings has seen some questionable stuff)

Well then you can ask the person to tag it. Also if you search up anything on Google chances you will find questionable content.

Mulp: “ask the person to tag it” Not everyone likes to tag their things and will be hostile about it. You said tumblr is not kid friendly, tagging and blacklisting do nothing for people(children) looking up things on google, or yahoo.
